I am the author of two soon-to-be-released books on pregnancy and parenting. The first, The Parent Trip: From High Heels and Parties to Highchairs and Potties (Bella Luna Press), will be released in September 2008. If you’re not sick of me by December, look for Cheers to the New Mom/Cheers to the New Dad (Sasquatch Books), a fun little co-ed gift book filled with wit and wisdom for the expectant mom… and the guy who knocked her up.

If my name sounds vaguely familiar–and you’ve realized that I’m not that Playboy Playmate chick–you must be a magazine junkie like me. I have been contributing to various publications for seventeen years (I started when I was twelve, okay?). My byline has appeared in more than forty national and international magazines, on dozens of web sites and in several anthologies. I have held staff positions in New York and LA for leading publishers including Conde Nast and Primedia, and for two years served as co-host of Santa Barbara’s top rated radio program, the KTYD Early Show. I have extensive media training and have appeared on several national news and lifestyle shows as a media spokesperson for Shape magazine.
